Best this session

The timer starts on your first click. Left button only; right-click is disabled in the box. A mouse with a worn switch can register extra clicks and inflate this number -- if your CPS looks impossibly high for how fast you're actually pressing, check the double-click gap on the mouse test.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a good CPS?

Ordinary clicking lands around 5-7 clicks per second. Jitter clicking and butterfly clicking push into the low teens; drag clicking can go far higher but depends on the mouse's switches and shell. Compare against your own earlier runs at the same duration rather than against a leaderboard -- different durations aren't comparable.

Which duration should I use?

5 seconds is the common benchmark. 1 second rewards a burst; 30 or 60 seconds shows whether you can sustain it, which is what matters for games that reward click rate over a whole fight.

My CPS is higher than I can actually click.

A worn mouse switch can send two clicks per press (switch bounce), which inflates CPS. Check the double-click gap on the mouse test: unintended clicks 20-80 ms apart mean the switch, not you, is doing the clicking.
